Initially upon opening the bottle, strong aromas of caramel and vanilla hit the nose. After tasting it the vanilla comes through more than anything. It’s a very sweet rum sure to please those that like sugary concoctions but at 93 proof, this definitely isn’t a rum to be taken lightly. Overall taste and smoothness would make this comparable more to a mid-grade rum with a vanilla kick decent by itself, but perfect for mixing. Add some coke or sprite and it’ll go down easy.
